Major refactor. It's all OOPy now.
The purpose for this refactor was twofold.
First, I wanted to make stream-backed generators safer to use.
Second, I wanted to make all of the code shorter and easier to
understand.
This refactor certainly accomplishes the first, and hopefully the
second.
